TELEVISION host Vice Ganda confirmed that he will do a movie with Maricel Soriano and Gabby Concepcion under Viva Films entitled "Boy Girl Bakla Tomboy."
The new movie will under the supervision of acclaimed Box Office director Wenn V. Deramas and filming will start February 12.
"Sobrang masaya ako sa paparating na project na ito kasi kasama ko si Inay Maria. Noon ko pa iyan wini-wish," Vice said in a television interview.
He added that his showbiz career would not be complete, until he will share a slapping scene with Maricel in a movie.
Meanwhile, Vice gave his two cents worth on the latest controversy involving Maricel, Gerald Anderson and the upcoming ABS-CBN series "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin."
"Marami pang pagkakataon na darating sa bawat isa sa atin. Hindi naman natatapos ang buhay sa isang pangyayari lang," he said.
Maricel was pulled out from the new project following her alleged outburst on the set of the new show. Maricel, however, remains silent on the matter.
Vice said that his followers will definitely like his upcoming movie with Maricel because the actress is not only known for her drama roles, but also for comedy roles.
"Lahat ng mga bakla maghahanda dito kasi siyempre diyosa siya ng mga bakla," he said, adding that the project will also pose as a challenge on his acting skills.
"Sabi nga ni sir Deo (Edrinal) kapag ginawa ko raw ito ng matino baka ito ang magbigay ng award sa iyo. Gusto kong talagang magpalaki ng katawan kung lalaki (ang role ko), kapag girl ako, sana bigyan nila ako ng time para magpapayat," he ended.
Maricel and Vice are both talents of Viva Entertainment.
